Iran is not a majority Islamic country, but there still may be a reason for this.
Three theories, on God's reasons for this: 1) There were bad folks on board; 2) God needed one of them in heaven; 3) God needed to change the government for a 'new man' to raise.

The Left hyped the need for compassion.
For years, since 2015, many some ex-Muslims who have warred the western countries of the nastiness of these Muslim men which is the outward sign of the consanguinitation of their minds towards western women. In that broken mind they will commit more crime.
