Things are moving to a single point in history.
The Looking Glass project reviled that no matter what choices were made, no matter when they were chosen, or in what order or choosing differently EVERYTHING ends up at this one point in time. It is like the sun rising or setting - it is going to happen and humanity has NO SAY in the matter.
